Working Principle of Wet Pan Mill

Wet pan mill is mainly composed of power unit, frame, trough, grinding wheel, grinding disc and other parts, adopting wheel-driven grinding working mode: firstly, the motor transmits the power to the reducer, which is driven by the reducer, and the torque is transmitted to the upper horizontal axis through the big vertical shaft, and then to the grinding wheel through the tie rods installed at both ends of the horizontal axis, so as to make the grinding wheel generate the driving force and rotate anticlockwise along the horizontal direction of the horizontal axis; during the operation, the grinding wheel can rotate around the vertical axis of the wet mill and rotate around the center axis of the grinding wheel, while the grinding disc is fixed. The added ore material is subjected to the squeezing force generated in the mill by the weight of the wheel itself. The grinding wheel and disc are repeatedly squeezed, kneaded and ground by the tremendous friction generated during rotation. Afterwards, it is completely crushed.

The mill has the function of mixing and stirring the slurry at the same time in the process of crushing and stirring the minerals, so that the materials and water are fully and evenly mixed to stabilize the slurry concentration and other grinding indexes; the fine particles of monomer minerals after grinding and crushing are brought to the upper level of the liquid surface of the mixed slurry, and discharged through the overflow discharge port located in the pool, and then enter the next process for processing; the coarse minerals are sunk to the bottom of the mill and continue to be ground and crushed until the fineness reaches the standard; the discharge port located in the pool discharges the fineness to the standard. The fineness reaches the standard; the sieve located at the discharge port of the pool (the aperture of the sieve mesh should be reasonably set according to the type of minerals and separation requirements) can strictly control the grading particle size, to avoid the phenomenon of minerals being over-crushed or uneven in particle size, and to create good conditions for the subsequent operation.
