Shaking table as a kind of high efficient gravity separation equipment, its basic structure is mainly composed of bed, frame and transmission mechanism. It shows unique advantages in the process of galena ore dressing. Shaking table model 6S is used to screen galena, iron, silica and so on in 250 mesh galena ore.

In the roughing stage, the shaking table is mainly used to process the ore after crushing and screening (usually the particle size is controlled below 2mm), with the purpose of quickly discarding a large number of tailings and initially enriching galena.

In the concentrating stage, the shaking table operation parameters are more delicate, mainly used to improve the grade of the coarse concentrate. At this time, a smaller stroke (11-13mm) and a higher stroke (350-360 times/minute) are usually used, the lateral slope is reduced to 2°-2.5°, and the water volume is adjusted more accurately.

The key of selective Shaking table is to form stable and obvious zoning, so that galena can be effectively separated from accompanying sphalerite, pyrite, etc. As the most classic shaking table model, 6-S type shaking table has moderate processing capacity (1.0-1.6 tons/hour), which is suitable for small and medium-sized ore dressing plants.
